Sandiaga Promises to Change Debt and Import Habits, If You Become a Vice President

Jurnal Fakta. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno promised to replace the old habits of Indonesia which he considered to be in debt and import. According to Sandi, this bad habit made the country's economy worse off and dependent on foreigners.

"We have to save money. Stop wasting money on ceremonial events. Boost national production. Stop food imports when farmers harvest. Infrastructure no longer needs to use the state budget, but development that uses private public partnerships, so it does not burden the state budget," said Sandi when dialogue with residents of village representatives in Solo, as quoted in a written statement.

Sandiaga said, the development of infrastructure without debt was also nothing new. He then gave toll road construction without the state budget, not without debt, namely the Cipali toll road.
"I once helped build the infrastructure of the Cipali Toll Road 116 km, did not use state money and burdened debt for the state and BUMN," Sandi said.

According to him, the economic downturn was also due to increased imports. As if Indonesia does not have natural resources and human resources. Farmers, fishermen complain about this import. The same complaint continued to be obtained at 950 points that he had visited since the appointment of presidential and vice presidential candidates last August.

"God willing, 2019 Prabowo Subianto and I were elected to serve the people, will change this old habit. That is, stop imports and debt. Poor children of the nation. In the current state of debt, every baby born has a debt burden of Rp. 13 million. "We will repay the debt in 2019, so that this country can stand on its own feet, not improve the welfare of other nations and create misery for the people themselves. I'm worried," said Sandi.
